New Zealand's SINATE To Work With PANTERA Producer
May 1, 2008Stephen Forbes of Stuff.co.nz reports that SINATE the west Auckland, New Zealand-based thrash metal band formed in 2005 by former 8 FOOT SATIVA members Sam and Matt Shephard will travel to Texas in October to record new material for its third album with legendary producer Sterling Winfield.
Winfield has collaborated with some of the biggest names in modern heavy metal and bass player Antony Folwell says it will be a real honour to be able to work with him.
Antony says the band will spend 15 days in the studio recording the new album and is keen to do some live dates.
"I've got a bunch of hookups over there," he says.
"So we're looking to stay for a while work visas permitting.
"There's also talk of us basing ourselves in Britain." Antony says a shift to Britain would make it easier for the band to play in Europe as well as the United States.
